Natalie Schlocker, Founder and Creative Director

DesignMyx is the brainchild of Natalie Schlocker, an award-winning graphic design artist, creative director and visionary thinker. Curious, intuitive and hands-on, Natalie spent more than 15 years as a founding partner of DRS and Associates, a full-service brand marketing and public relations agency specializing in the luxury home lifestyle world. She is a trusted resource to her clients, collaborators and contemporaries. They value her tenacity and grit, and innate ability to see and articulate business goals with the vibrancy of an artist’s eye.

Her experience has taken her from working with major film and television production studios on promotional design to integrating campaigns across multiple channels from print collateral to digital and social for leading global brands, independently owned businesses and full-fledged startups. She’s reinvented brands and created new ones from the ground, up.

Through all these manifestations of her craft, Natalie continues to reinvent herself too. It was in this spirit that she branched out in 2023 to start DesignMyx. Believing that “reinvention is what makes us vital,” she takes every opportunity to learn new things and push the boundaries of her own creativity to find moments of lasting brand impact for her clients.  

Natalie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic design from California State University at Northridge, and continued her academic training at the prestigious Pasadena Art Center. She credits her time at these institutions with fueling her lifelong interest in the evolution of art and leveraging 21^st century technology and tools as art, design and storytelling mediums for brands.
